How extensive is the DAS program in health law?
The postgraduate course leading to the Diploma of Advanced Studies UAS in Nursing and Health Law is worth 30 ECTS credits, which corresponds to around 900 hours of study, including exam preparation, attendance and self-study. Each of the six modules comprises four to six attendance days, plus an admission module on researching and evaluating research results for people without a university degree or HöFa II.
What modules does the Diploma of Advanced Studies continuing education, further training in nursing and health law consist of?
The following compulsory modules must be taken for the UAS diploma course in Nursing and Healthcare Law: Criminal Law and Data Protection; Social Insurance and Patient Law; Liability and Professional Practice; and Ethics in Healthcare. In addition, there is an elective module, whereby the module "Successful Negotiation" is recommended for this DAS, as well as a thesis module. For those without a university degree, the admission module "Research Results: Research and Assessment" is compulsory.
Is a diploma course offered exclusively on the subject of health law?
In addition to a DAS (Diploma of Advanced Studies) UAS diploma course in nursing and healthcare law, a shorter CAS (Certificate of Advanced Studies) course is also offered, which consists of three compulsory modules, unlike the DAS with four compulsory modules, one elective module and the diploma module.

The Diploma of Advanced Studies DAS diploma course in Nursing and Health Law varies in duration depending on the elective module chosen, but lasts at least one year, although you can extend it over a longer period of time with less intensity.
Is it possible to continue working alongside the DAS in Health Law?
It is possible to work 50 to 80 percent of the time during the continuing education further training for the Diploma of Advanced Studies (DAS) in Nursing Law and Health Law.
