How does training to become a supervisor in the social and healthcare sector work and how much does it cost?
The training consists of 10 modules, which can be attended and completed individually. Each module certificate is valid for 5 years and can be supplemented with further modules during this time and combined to obtain a recognized qualification.
There are training courses for individual modules as well as compact courses that contain several modules and prepare students for specific qualifications:
Individual modules
- Individual modules 1-5: 5 course days in 2-3 months, 30 self-study hours, CHF 1,600 per module
- Individual modules 6-8: 9 course days in 2-3 months, 60 self-study hours, CHF 2,900 per module
- Individual modules 9-10: 9 course days in 5 months, 50 self-study hours, CHF 3,200 per module
Compact courses
Team leader with federal certificate (modules 1-5):
- 25-27 course days in 7-10 months, CHF 7'700-8'100
Division manager with industry certificate (modules 6-8):
- 29 course days in approx. 9 months, 200 self-study hours, CHF 9,200
Head of institution with a federal diploma (modules 6-10 or 9-10):
- After completing team leadership (modules 6-10): 45 course days in approx. 1 year, 330 self-study hours, CHF 14,600
- After completing divisional management (modules 9-10): 21-24.5 course days in approx. 8-10 months, CHF 7,200
