Towing service training with a federal certificate of proficiency in road assistance

Road assistants take responsibility for the necessary measures at breakdown or accident sites. Their primary focus is on the safety of the people and goods involved and the environment. They can quickly assess a situation and recognize possible dangers and further damage at an early stage. In addition, after consultation with the client, they determine the next steps to be taken with the insurance companies and the clients involved and are available to advise clients on all questions relating to the breakdown or accident. Road assistants also make every effort to ensure the mobility of clients.

Breakdown mechanics are able to assess minor breakdowns well and carry out emergency repairs on the spot after a professional diagnosis to restore roadworthiness. In the event of an accident, they ensure the safe recovery, transportation, storage and disposal of the vehicle. In the case of minor accidents, they provide a professional assessment of the safety of the vehicle to continue its journey. The job description of road assistants is therefore very comprehensive and complex. It requires quick comprehension, flexibility and a high level of know-how, which can be acquired in a well-founded towing service training course.
