How does training to become an Agile Coach work and what does it cost?

Agile coaching is usually introduced via various Scrum courses.

Training courses specializing in agile coaching are available in the form of certifications, a postgraduate course or CAS module.

They are not federally regulated and differ considerably in terms of design, duration and costs.

TheDuration of the educational programs"Agile Coach" varies between:

  • 2 to 10-day courses (half-day, full-day or evening courses), which are completed as a block or over a period of individual days or several months.
  • Modular courses lasting several months.

TheForm of trainingis usually a mixture of online and face-to-face events. There are also courses that take place entirely online.

All "Agile Coach" courses can be completed on a part-time basis. In addition to the time required for the online and classroom lessons, you should also allow sufficient time for self-study and writing the module or final thesis. In some cases, an examination is also required.

TheCourse costsfor the Agile Coach course are made up of the number of teaching units in online and face-to-face lessons as well as additional support services. They therefore vary greatly. Depending on the course format and specialization

  • CHF 2500.- to 8900.- for courses lasting several days and
  • CHF 6400 to 8000 for the postgraduate course or the CAS module.
