What are the requirements for autism coach training?
Depending on the type, scope and focus of the autism coach training, the following prerequisites may be required:
- Minimum age 18 years
- Completed basic training
- Indirectly or directly affected by autism or professional needs
- Partial basic coaching training or counselor training
Why an autism coach?
An autism coach works with a solution- and resource-oriented, systemic approach in the sense of helping people to help themselves. According to the systemic approach, this means, for example, that the more stable and secure the parents feel in dealing with ASD, the child and their needs, the more empowering and stabilizing this will be for the child and their environment.
