Der Zertifikatslehrgang (CAS) in Bauphysik hat eine Dauer von etwa vier Monaten mit einem Tag Unterricht in der Woche. Möchten Sie den CAS zu einem DAS (Diploma of Advanced Studies) ausbauen und zwei zusätzliche Module besuchen, so verlängert sich die Studienzeit entsprechend auf etwa 3 Semester.

Was genau ist denn eigentlich ein DAS in Bauphysik?

Bei einem DAS handelt es sich um einen Diplomlehrgang an einer Fachhochschule, einem Diploma of Advanced Studies, welcher mit 30 bis 40 ECTS-Credits verrechnet wird. In der Regel besteht ein CAS in aus zwei bis vier Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) Zertifikatslehrgängen, die in beliebiger Reihenfolge und auch unabhängig voneinander besucht werden können. Beim DAS Biophysik haben Sie ein Pflichtmodul sowie zwei Ergänzungsmodule, die Sie aus einer kleinen Auswahl wählen können, etwa: CAS Akustik, CAS Brandschutz, CAS professionelle Lichtplanung in der Architektur, CAS Bau-Physik im Holzbau oder Bau-Physik in der Praxis.

You can become a building physicist as a civil engineer UAS or FIT, architect UAS or in a professional field within building technology or construction planning with a higher professional qualification. Specialized continuing education, further training in building physics, such as a CAS (Certificate of Advanced Studies) or a DAS (Certificate of Advanced Studies) also provides you with up-to-date practical knowledge in physical planning.

Who is the target group for the building physics course?

The CAS and DAS in Building Physics are aimed at professionals from the fields of engineering, architecture, building physics and building technology who explicitly wish to further their education and also have a university degree or comparable qualification and several years of professional experience in the construction industry. If you do not have one of these qualifications but would still like to attend a certificate or diploma course, you can still be admitted after an aptitude test.
