Biomedical Engineering is usually a Master's specialization. Biomedical engineering is an interdisciplinary field in which procedures and methods from the technical sciences, mathematics and physics are used. The aim is to tackle and solve the most important current problems in biology and medicine. Depending on the specialization chosen, the course deepens knowledge in the relevant area of biomedical engineering, e.g. bioelectronics, biomechanics, etc.

It is essential for prospective biomedical engineers to have a high level of English for the Master's degree program in Biomedical Engineering, as all courses are taught exclusively in English.
