Who is the CAS in Brand Storytelling suitable for?

What do CAS Brand Storytelling participants learn?
The Swiss Text Academy's Brand Storytelling course teaches participants the basics of storytelling, the structure of a story, the most important components of a brand and the connection between storytelling and branding. It shows how to perfectly implement personal branding, i.e. the ego brand, in digital media and images, for which the participants also receive camera and speech training and deal with biographical storytelling. Storytelling forms of presentation in corporate communication are also explored in greater depth.
Is the CAS in Brand Storytelling part of a Master's program?
The CAS in Brand Storytelling "CAS Storytelling and Branding / Personal Branding" can be taken individually or combined with other CAS courses to form a Master's degree. For the MAS Corporate Writing & Publishing degree with 60 ETCS, further certificate courses must be completed, such as CAS Corporate Writer - Design Thinking, CAS Marketing Writer - UX Writing, CAS Content Marketing / Corporate Publisher, CAS Digital Publisher - Social Media Producer and a Master's module.
What is the main focus of the Brand Storytelling course?
The certificate course in Brand Storytelling at the Swiss Text Academy (CAS Storytelling & Personal Branding) focuses on three main areas. These are:
- Storytelling basics: planning and implementation
- Digital storytelling and personal branding
- Technical basics: interplay between text, image and video
What level of education is required to take part in the Brand Storytelling course?
Participation in the CAS Brand Storytelling of the Swiss Text Academy requires a higher education qualification, such as a university degree, a diploma from a TS, CHE, a professional examination or a Advanced Federal Professional Examination (AFPE) with at least two years of study-relevant professional experience. In the case of a comparable educational qualification with the required practical experience, study participants can be admitted "sur dossier" by the study management. In addition to previous education and professional experience, participants are also expected to have sufficient skills in working with social platforms and to be able to prove this. This includes having a presence on two or more social platforms such as Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook or Xing, as well as maintaining and using the profile at least two days a week.
How long does the Brand Storytelling course take?
Participants in the certificate course in Brand Storytelling at the Swiss Text Academy have to plan a total of 360 lessons. However, this already includes self-study, which comprises around a third of the entire continuing education, further training course. The continuing education course comprises a total of 15.5 days of classroom instruction and 8 days of supervised study work over the course of one semester.
