Contract Law and Trade Law: Become an expert in commercial and contract law

In day-to-day business, contract negotiations are often conducted by non-lawyers. They are also the ones who draw up the contracts and are confronted in detail with the topic of company law. Anyone wishing to take on responsibility in this area should have a sound knowledge of the legal principles and contracts and also be aware of the associated rules and risks. Complex and challenging legal problems in commercial and contract law require comprehensive analytical skills from those in charge, which can be acquired in a suitable course of study for non-lawyers. Only in this way is it possible to assess risks, propose your own solutions and draft and draw up your own watertight contracts. A highly recommended course on this topic is the CAS Trade and Contract Law (FH). Participants in this continuing education course receive a basic introduction to the subject of law and contract law. The different types of contract (rent, purchase, order, license agreement and contract for work and services) are studied and dealt with in detail. Another important subject area of the course is the practical drafting of contracts. Graduates of the CAS Trade and Contract Law (FH) learn how a contract should be drawn up, which clauses should be formulated and how, etc. They are thus able to draft complex contracts. This enables them to draft complex contracts independently. The area of commercial law is also covered in detail during the continuing education program. A comprehensive overview of the most important basic principles and company norms of Swiss company law is provided.
