Flugsicherungsleiterin HF legen Sie sich auf eine Spezialisierung fest, aus denen sich jeweils unterschiedliche Arbeitsfelder und damit Standorte ergeben. Für eine Tätigkeit im militärischen Luftverkehr stehen Ihnen die Standorte Meiringen, Payerne, Emmen, Alpnach, Locarno, Dübendorf, Wangen bei Dübendorf und Buochs zur Auswahl.

Kann ich mich direkt nach der Schulzeit zur Flugverkehrsleiterin HF ausbilden lassen?

Für die Ausbildung zum/zur Flugbegleiter/in HF ist ein Maturitätszeugnis oder eidgenössisches Fähigkeitszeugnis EFZ notwendig, so dass Sie nicht bereits nach der obligatorischen Schulzeit mit dem HF-Studium beginnen können. Zudem besteht eine Altersbeschränkung, die für den Ausbildungsbeginn zwischen 18 und 30 Jahren liegt.

Muss ich für die Diplomausbildung zum Flugsicherungsleiter zwingend Schweizer Bürger sein?

Ausschliesslich für die militärische Ausbildung in der Flugsicherung ist die Schweizer Staatsbürgerschaft zwingend, für die zivile Ausbildung als dipl. Flugsicherungsleiter HF / dipl. Flugsicherungsleiterin HF können auch EU-Bürger mit der Aufenthaltsbewilligung B oder Personen mit Niederlassungsbewilligung C zugelassen werden.

Wie ist die Ausbildung zum Flugverkehrsleiter HF aufgebaut?

Die Ausbildung zum/zur dipl. Flugsicherungsleiter/in HF erfolgt innerhalb von zweieinhalb Jahren in einer theoretischen und praktischen Ausbildung. Das erste Jahr verbringen die angehenden Flugsicherungsfachmänner / Flugsicherungsfachfrauen in der Grundausbildung im Skyguide Training Center, die anschliessenden anderthalb Jahre in der praktischen Ausbildung auf militärischen oder zivilen Flugplätzen im Kontrollturm, oder in der militärischen Einsatz-Zentrale. Die Unterrichtssprache ist Englisch.

Welche Zulassungsbedingungen muss ich für das Studium zum Flugverkehrsleiter erfüllen?

Für das Aviatik Studium mit Abschluss Flugverkehrsleiter/in HF gelten folgende Zulassungsbedingungen: Abgeschlossene dreijährige Grundbildung oder gymnasiale Maturität Mindestalter 18 Jahre, Höchstalter 28 Jahre Sehr gute Kenntnisse der englischen Sprache in Wort und Schrift auf Niveau B2 Deutsch-, Französisch- oder Italienischkenntnisse auf Niveau C1 Erfolgreich abgeschlossener Medizinischer Tauglichkeitstest Niederlassungsbewilligung C oder EU-Staaten-Bürger mit Personenfreizügigkeitsabkommen Schweizer Bürger (nur bei militärischer Ausbildung) Erfolgreich bestandene Eignungsabklärung

Air traffic controller HF - the professional challenge for those interested in aviation

One of the most challenging and interesting jobs in the aviation sector is working as an air traffic controller. This profession can be learned after a three-year commercial or four-year technical apprenticeship. Passing an aptitude test is also a prerequisite. The basic training lasts 2 years and graduates receive a corresponding license and can therefore already be deployed in the workplace. Afterwards, a corresponding 1 ½ year internal further training course must be attended in order to obtain full polyvalence.

The air traffic controller licence is recognized throughout Europe as it complies with Eurocontrol requirements. During training, the most modern technical aids are used, such as the 360-degree 3D tower simulator. The profession of air traffic controller is very demanding and involves a great deal of responsibility. This also affects the salary, which includes a bonus for special responsibility. Training allowances are paid during this further training.

Can I also work internationally with training as an air traffic controller CHE?

The "Air Traffic Controller" license issued by the Federal Office of Civil Aviation is internationally valid, so that a subsequent worldwide career in civil aviation is also possible.

At which locations in Switzerland can I work in military aviation security after graduating as an air traffic control manager?

In the first year of your training to become a qualified air traffic controller CHE, you will decide on a specialization, which will result in different fields of work and therefore different locations. Training to become a qualified air traffic controller CHE takes two and a half years of theoretical and practical training. The first year is spent in basic training at the Skyguide Training Center, followed by one and a half years of practical training at military or civil airports in the control tower or in the military operations center. The language of instruction is English.
