For basic training in foot reflexology therapy, participants are generally not expected to have any previous knowledge, meaning that you can also take part in such a course without medical training or a previous massage course. However, please ask the individual schools about the individual admission requirements using our contact form.
Do the schools also offer TCM foot reflexology?

What exactly are foot reflex zones?
Foot reflex zones are specific reflex zones on the feet that are regarded as a mirror image of the body. Each part of a foot corresponds to an organ or body part, such as the frontal and maxillary sinuses at the top of the toes. Targeted treatment methods and massages of the individual parts of the foot stimulate the corresponding areas of the body, blood circulation and metabolism. In this way, organs can be soothed or relieved of pain, strengthened or stimulated by a professional foot reflexology massage.
What skills do I have after training in foot reflexology massage?
Basic training in foot reflexology usually begins with theoretical knowledge about the location of reflex points and the corresponding organs. They learn about and apply a wide variety of grip and pressure techniques, identify indicators and counter-indicators and can then perform a foot massage. In a subsequent course or in complete training courses, you will also learn how to localize and treat them, learn about and treat different clinical pictures and complaints, take a medical history and carry out a palpation and visual assessment. It is best to ask the individual providers for a list of the learning objectives and course content.
How many days does a foot reflexology massage course last?
The duration of a massage course in foot reflexology can vary greatly depending on the school and type of training. You will find basic courses for beginners that last four to ten days, but also complete courses that comply with EMR guidelines and have more than 150 lessons.
