My name is Annette Andermatt. I come from Baar. I originally worked in the commercial sector. I have my own practice - Sosiega GmbH - where I offer coaching, Bach flower remedies, menopause counseling and massages. These include foot reflexology - a very exciting form of therapy for various ailments on both a physical and mental level.
At the Bella Vita Academy I attended Bach flower training, basic medical training, foot reflexology training and the alternating years training.
During my internet research, I came across the Bella Vita Academy. After taking a closer look at the school, I was convinced by the concept and the courses on offer. The wide range of courses on offer and the flexible times convinced me.
I enjoyed the basic medical training all by myself in the form of private training - and even at the official group price. As part of the foot reflexology training, I was able to start my first practical treatments on the very first day of training thanks to the models provided.
In my practice, I often use foot reflexology with my clients. This "organ massage" on the feet allows me to tap into the whole body's condition. This is very fascinating for me and inspires me every time anew.
I like to remember one of my successful experiences with a client: In connection with the anamnesis I took during the foot reflexology treatment, I recognized that he had appendicitis. This was treated early on in conventional medicine and a burst appendix was prevented. This gave me strength and made me very happy. Foot reflexology is also very helpful for people who have experienced whiplash. I have also had many positive experiences in this area and have been able to support patients on their healing journey in order to shorten it or make it more pleasant.
During the foot reflexology training, I was very pleased that the practical work could take place immediately. I find this exceptional and very helpful for learning this therapy method quickly. The manual treatment of the feet started on the first day of the course, after the theory block. This allowed me to quickly gain practical experience and consolidate what I had learned.
I have very fond memories of the Bella Vita Academy's impressive and harmonious classrooms. They are not the usual classrooms. The atmosphere is calm, clean and invitingly warm.
A clear advantage of the Bella Vita Academy for the foot reflexology course is the fact that the classes are not large. In some cases, you can even be taught individually. This is incredibly nice and you can benefit a lot.
There were challenges for me while learning reflexology. It was also tough and I was challenged. It's not just about the foot, but the holistic treatment of the person. You learn how the foot is structured and its function on the whole body. Thanks to the previous training in medical basics, I was able to apply a lot of knowledge about the individual organs in the body to the foot reflexology massage. This acquired knowledge flows into the anamnesis and treatment during the massage and I can thus better help patients with their various ailments or disharmonies. This is because all ten body systems, such as the digestive tract, are represented in the feet and can be stimulated with massage. The greatest challenges are to take an anamnesis of the foot - to distinguish between light and dark areas based on the blood circulation and to recognize where in the body or in which organs there is a disharmony - and finally to find the right foot reflex zones to remedy these problems. However, with the knowledge and practical application I learned in the foot reflexology course, I am now very accurate. This enables me to get my patients' organs functioning smoothly again.
The atmosphere during the training was sometimes very serious, as there is a great deal of knowledge to be learned. However, there was always a good sense of relaxation. And I received a lot of good support during the foot reflexology training.
After training in foot reflexology, I can also support my clients in my practice with this form of therapy. This also helps me to complement other methods, such as the treatment of menopausal symptoms. With this massage, things in the body can be explored and brought to light that are not yet known to me or my patients.
My professional opportunities have changed thanks to the foot reflexology training to the extent that I can now also offer this form of therapy in my practice and support my patients by working on their feet. This is very well received by my clients and is very helpful for my further therapeutic work. You can gather so much information from the appearance of the feet. We learned this early on in our foot reflexology training. Whether someone has calluses, redness, lightening or even cracks... These are all indications of organs inside us that we cannot see with our eyes - but we can see them through our feet. The appearance of the feet gives us information about any disharmony in the body. This was a good basis for me personally to be able to apply this method in my own practice today.
Feet have always fascinated me. Because we stand on our feet all our lives. They carry us and provide the necessary balance. That is why I have specialized in foot reflexology. The knowledge gained from the image of the feet helps me and my clients. I can also use the massage to properly care for and support the feet.
I highly recommend the foot reflexology training at Bella Vita Academy. It is very holistic. It not only covers the field of foot reflexology, but is much more comprehensive than you would expect beforehand. The Bella Vita Academy also has beautiful premises. I feel very comfortable learning new knowledge in such a setting.
