Tipps und Entscheidungshilfen für die Ausbildungswahl

Nursing or therapeutic professionals, midwives and social workers benefit on a daily basis if they have a comprehensive knowledge of nursing and healthcare law. Sound legal knowledge in the exercise of their professional activities leads to increased confidence when dealing with patients, relatives, authorities and health insurers. Professionals with a comprehensive knowledge of nursing and healthcare law inspire confidence in their counterparts and have a more confident manner. This is increasingly important in view of the ever more complex issues surrounding care and health and the constantly expanding range of tasks in healthcare. The focus is increasingly on qualitative aspects and how to guarantee them

Nursing and therapeutic tasks are particularly affected by health and professional law. However, they are of course also affected by social law, inheritance law, child and adult protection law and family law.

If you would like to deepen your know-how and specialist knowledge in the field of nursing and healthcare law, you will find suitable training courses from relevant technical colleges and universities of applied sciences in your region on Ausbildung-Weiterbildung.ch. As a person interested in education, you have the opportunity on this education portal to order free and non-binding information documents directly by e-mail and also benefit from numerous other services. A visit to the education portal is definitely worthwhile and will get you ahead!

Questions and answers

It is possible to work 50 to 80 percent of the time during the continuing education further training for the Diploma of Advanced Studies (DAS) in Nursing Law and Health Law.

The Diploma of Advanced Studies DAS diploma course in Nursing and Health Law varies in duration depending on the elective module chosen, but lasts at least one year, although you can extend it over a longer period of time with less intensity.

In addition to a DAS (Diploma of Advanced Studies) UAS diploma course in nursing and healthcare law, a shorter CAS (Certificate of Advanced Studies) course is also offered, which consists of three compulsory modules, unlike the DAS with four compulsory modules, one elective module and the diploma module.

The following compulsory modules must be taken for the UAS diploma course in Nursing and Healthcare Law: Criminal Law and Data Protection; Social Insurance and Patient Law; Liability and Professional Practice; and Ethics in Healthcare. In addition, there is an elective module, whereby the module "Successful Negotiation" is recommended for this DAS, as well as a thesis module. For those without a university degree, the admission module "Research Results: Research and Assessment" is compulsory.

The postgraduate course leading to the Diploma of Advanced Studies UAS in Nursing and Health Law is worth 30 ECTS credits, which corresponds to around 900 hours of study, including exam preparation, attendance and self-study. Each of the six modules comprises four to six attendance days, plus an admission module on researching and evaluating research results for people without a university degree or HöFa II.
