Training as a janitor with a federal certificate has existed for over 25 years and is an important and widely accepted training program in Switzerland. Today's caretaking is an all-round job. This means: he/she is a cleaning professional, gardener, plumber, electrician, carpenter, painter, accountant, etc. In all these professions, a janitor has the basic knowledge to be able to discuss and work with technical experts. Currently, over 5,000 people have successfully completed the training - and the number is increasing every year.
