In two days, you will learn the basic terminology, structures, concepts and principles of ITIL 4. You will learn a holistic framework for the creation, delivery and continuous improvement of technology-enabled products and services and prepare for the certification exam.

Depending on the chosen training provider, the costs for an ITIL Foundation certification range from CHF 1,700 to CHF 2,500, including examination costs.

Continuing education, further training in ITIL Foundation is particularly suitable for managers, process managers, project managers and consultants who want to deal with and optimize IT service management and the benefits of IT for the company. In addition to IT specialists, these include business economists, managing directors and IT service providers.

For courses that serve as exam preparation, the ITIL Foundation exam takes place as an entry-level certification as part of the course on the last day.

As a rule, schools prepare for the ITIL Foundation exam within three days.

In most cases, there are no specific requirements for participants in continuing education, further training in ITIL Foundation. Basic IT knowledge and an interest in IT processes are usually sufficient.

During an ITIL Foundation v3 course, participants acquire important skills relating to IT service management and ITIL. They acquire knowledge in Service Strategy, Service Transition, Service Design Service Operation and Continual Service Improvement, Service Lifecycle, Technology considerations and their interaction. The most important terms and definitions, the objectives and scope, the basic concepts and key principles, value to the business and processes of the service strategy phase are explained.
