After completing a Bachelor's degree in aviation, a Master of Science in Engineering (MSE) can be chosen as a further course of study.

The complete aviation degree program (Aviation Bachelor) comprises 180 credits, which are divided between the general studies, project track / practical work, subject-specific basics and focus on aviation as well as mathematical and scientific basics. For example, the modules "Aviation Law", "Principles of Flights", "IT Application", "Transportation Law", "Aviation Basics" and "IT Programming", "Electrics and Electronics", "Infrastructure in Aviation", "Aircraft Systems", "Meterology for Aviation and Engineers", "Safety Risk Management - Quality Management", "Business Process Engineering" and "Business Administration for the Aviation Industry" must be completed. In addition, there are Math for Aviation Linear Algebra and Analysis 1 and 2, Math for Aviation Applied Numerics and Applied Statistics, Chemistry and Materials for Aviation 1 and 2 as well as various compulsory elective modules. English for Aeronautical Communication, Presentation Techniques, Project Management, Systems Engineering and Scientific Writing are also part of the Aviation Bachelor's degree program, as are Intercultural Communication and Management, Human-Technology-Environment, a project and a Bachelor's thesis. The Universities will inform you about the exact modules and their individual contents.

Holders of a Specialized Baccalaureate are also admitted to the Aviation degree course without an examination, provided they have a Specialized Baccalaureate in a profile similar to the field of study or, in the case of a non-specialized professional field, have at least one year of work experience in a related field.

In Switzerland, graduates of aviation studies can obtain a "Bachelor of Science (UAS) in Aviation" degree. There is also the option of a dual degree with additional license training to become an airline pilot.

Graduates of aviation studies find employment in air traffic control, with airlines, with aircraft manufacturers and suppliers, at airports and with authorities, in transportation, with the air guard, with insurance companies and banks. Depending on the chosen specialization in operations, planning or technology.

When studying for a Bachelor's degree in Aviation, you can choose between the specializations "Operational Engineering", "Technical Engineering" and "Commercial Pilot".
