Zum Masterstudiengang MAS Applied History wird zugelassen, wer über einen konsekutiven Masterabschluss einer Hochschule sowie über Berufserfahrung verfügt. Personen, die lediglich über einen Bachelorabschluss und qualifizierende Berufserfahrung verfügen oder gleichwertige Qualifikationen vorweisen, können in Abklärung mit der Studienleitung in Ausnahmefällen ebenfalls zugelassen werden.

Mit welchen Kosten ist für den MAS Applied History zu rechnen?

Wie lange dauert der MAS History?

Der MAS in Applied History wird berufsbegleitend durchgeführt und erstreckt sich über die Dauer von zwei Jahren. Der Weiterbildungsmaster umfasst insgesamt 34 Module, die jeweils vier Tage dauern und freitags sowie samstags ganztägig stattfinden. Die einzelnen Module werden im Abstand von vier bis fünf Wochen durchgeführt. Die Schools haben eine Dauer von bis zu 10 Tagen.

Der Weiterbildungsmaster MAS Applied History richtet sich an eine sehr heterogene Zielgruppe. Studierende kommen aus den unterschiedlichsten Berufszweigen, etwa aus den Sektoren Banken und Versicherungen; Medizin, Gesundheit und Soziales; Medien und Kultur; Dienstleistung und Consulting; Wirtschaft und Recht oder auch aus der Bildung und Forschung. Angesprochen sind Personen, die ihren persönlichen Horizont erweitern möchten und für die strategisches und analytisches Handeln eine Grundvoraussetzung für Erfolg darstellen.

Insgesamt 34 Module umfasst der MAS Applied History, wobei 17 Module obligatorisch, neun fakultativ und sieben als „School“ durchgeführt werden. Für den MAS Abschluss müssen 17 Plichtmodule sowie entweder eine School oder ein fakultatives Modul belegt werden. Anyone with a consecutive Master's degree from a Universities and professional experience will be admitted to the MAS Applied History program. Persons who only have a Bachelor's degree and qualifying professional experience or equivalent qualifications may also be admitted in exceptional cases after consultation with the Director of Studies.

This degree program, unique in Europe, opens up the specific potential of historical methods in a practical way, which is generally of practical use in a wide variety of professional fields: politics, diplomacy, business, teaching, management, media and culture.
