Negotiation Training - Negotiation needs to be learned

There are various seminars on the subject of negotiation techniques and negotiation, in which you will be introduced to sound negotiation tactics that you can then implement in your day-to-day work. Another interesting educational opportunity in this subject area is the CAS Global Negotiator, which is completed at university level. This modular course can be completed on a part-time basis and is aimed at specialists and managers in all sectors. If you are in a management position, you have increased responsibility, which often involves negotiations, whether with employees, clients, suppliers, counterparties or authorities. In larger, international companies in particular, it is always important to consider the cultural context. This is precisely what makes this Certificate of Advanced Studies so exceptional - one of the five modules deals with the topic of "Negotiating in a cultural context". Understanding the cultural context that shapes a negotiation can be used to achieve success and build trust with the negotiating partner. Participants in this negotiation training course are taught various negotiation techniques and will be able to apply these methods flawlessly in different situations after completing the modules. The course strengthens graduates so that they can present a more confident demeanor even in hectic situations and under pressure and thus gain more assertiveness.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to attend the CAS Negation Training modules individually.

Continuing education, further training in negotiation is aimed at senior executives and project managers, entrepreneurs and board members, lawyers with international work experience and law firm partners with at least ten years of professional experience.

The Certified Global Negotiator negotiation training consists of a total of 20 course days, which are held over a period of approximately one year.

The Negotiation Training of the CAS Certified Global Negotiator consists of four modules: Negotiating according to the Harvard Concept; Negotiating Systemically; Negotiating in the Border Area; and Negotiating in a Cultural Context. Topics such as negotiation management, mediation, body language, confidence building, communication basics, negotiation psychology, intercultural communication and others are covered. Further training at the interface of law and business!

The Law & Management division offers high-quality continuing education courses at the interface between law and business administration. The courses are aimed both at lawyers who wish to acquire management skills and at managers who require knowledge of business law. In addition to the extra-occupational programs "Management for the Legal Profession" and "Business Law for Managers", we offer a negotiation course: "Certified Global Negotiator" and a seminar week in "Systemic Group Dynamics".
