3-year training to become a Qi Gong instructor

The training is recognized by the Swiss Society for Qigong and Taichi (SGQT).
The 3-year Qigong training takes place in a small group in which each participant can also be individually supervised.
The course offers sound training in the most basic styles of Qigong and also creates a good basis for understanding the connections with traditional Chinese medicine.
Both forms of movement and silent meditative forms are taught in the Daoist, Buddhist and Chinese medicine traditions.

What content is taught during the Qi Gong training?

This cannot be said to be universally valid, as each school determines the content independently. There are often different modules that can be attended and completed individually one after the other. For a diploma course in Qi Gong, all modules must be attended. A course can look like this:

Module 1: Definition and effect, organ exercises, meridian visualization exercises, meridian exercises
Module 2: The eight brocades - Ba Duan Jin, small energy circuit, Qi building exercises, important energy points
Module 3: Peking Form
Module 4: Medical Qi Gong, chakras and acupuncture points, regulating Zang Fu through Daoist exercises, body armor, tissue layers
Module 5: Supervision, repetition questions, case studies, graduation as Qi Gong Practitioner

Who is a certificate course in Qi Gong suitable for?

A Qi Gong course is ideal for all those who want to bring their body and soul into harmony, who want to take the time to concentrate exclusively on themselves and promote their life energy through movement. There are usually no prerequisites for beginners' courses, but for all advanced courses, the previous course must usually have been attended. For those who would like to learn more about this form of movement meditation and teach it to others, there is also the option of training to become a certified medical Qi Gong practitioner.

How is Qi Gong training structured?

It depends on the school in question how the training is structured in detail. However, it usually consists of several modules that can be booked separately and build on each other. If you are interested in working as a Qi Gong teacher or trainer, you can attend more intensive units after the first modules for beginners, which include medical Qi Gong. After completing all the required modules, a final module is planned, which includes supervision, case discussions, repetitions and questions.
