Questions and answers

The course on pedestrian and cycle traffic planning is a continuing education, further training course at university level (UAS), which is carried out as a Certificate of Advanced Studies CAS Pedestrian and Cycling Traffic and represents in-service training.

As part of the MAS Spatial Development, the CAS Pedestrian and Cycling Continuing Education course is offered as a part-time course consisting of 5 modules. Module Fundamentals of Drafting, Project Planning and Design / Module Network Planning for Pedestrian Traffic / Module Network Planning for Cycling / Module Pedestrian/Cycling Traffic and Health / Module Project Work. The target group for the CAS in Pedestrian and Cycling Traffic are specialists in the planning and design of cycle and pedestrian paths who wish to study this topic in greater depth and who may be aiming for the MAS in Spatial Development. This course is aimed at people from engineering and planning offices, NGOs, municipalities, cities, cantonal administrations and cycling and pedestrian traffic departments at cantonal or municipal level.

The CAS in Pedestrian and Cycling Traffic (UAS) certificate course is primarily aimed at people who have completed a university degree, but other higher professional training with several years of relevant professional experience can also be considered "sur dossier" as a qualification for admission. The Head of Studies decides on final admission.
