Depending on the training provider, the certificate course in real estate management can take different lengths of time. Depending on the intensity of the course, continuing education, further training can take between two and twelve months.

Training to become a real estate management assistant is a course that ends with a certificate and provides you with the basic knowledge of real estate management. Further training to become a real estate manager, on the other hand, is a preparatory course for a federal professional examination (BP) which, if passed, leads to a federal specialist certificate.

Taking on administrative tasks in the real estate management team is the core task of the real estate management clerk. Other tasks include

Not all training providers offer or require you to take a final examination to become a real estate management specialist. A separate (external) examination must be taken for further training courses that conclude with a certificate from a label or association, such as edupool.ch.

For people without professional experience in the real estate industry who would like to work as a real estate manager in the course of their career, we recommend entering the real estate industry by attending a certificate course, for example as a real estate management clerk, which is also suitable for career changers.
