Systems Engineering Bachelor FH - The interdisciplinary experts among engineers

Systems engineers have completed a versatile, interdisciplinary bachelor's degree and are able to operate confidently at the interfaces between mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and IT. They can deal with complex systems and processes and, thanks to their networked thinking, are able to quickly familiarize themselves with new areas of application.

 

Graduates of the Bachelor's degree course in Systems Engineering take on tasks in the planning, development, production, operation and optimization of technical devices and systems. They work in specialist areas such as robotics, micro- and nanotechnology, medical and materials technology, automation, communication systems, mechanical and plant engineering or optical systems.

 

The Bachelor's degree course in Systems Engineering can be completed as a full-time course in three years or as a part-time course in four years. Depending on the chosen school, students can choose from the following specializations:

The costs for a Systems Engineering Bachelor UAS vary depending on the University of Applied Sciences and range from CHF 500 to CHF 1,000 per semester. In addition, there are regular costs for lecture notes and other materials of between CHF 550 and CHF 2,000 per year as well as a one-off enrollment fee.
