A good knowledge of mathematics and German as well as knowledge of everyday office work are generally required for the logistics assistant apprenticeship. At some schools, professional experience in a logistics environment is also expected. The course content for the Logistics Assistant further training with SSC certificate includes the following six SSC basic modules:

Both options are completed with a professional examination and the award of a federal certificate.

The costs for the logistics assistant course vary depending on the school, but are between CHF 3,500 and CHF 4,300.

The logistics assistant course with certificate usually lasts one semester. It takes place on a part-time basis, usually two evenings a week and/or on Saturdays. Information can be obtained from the training providers.

The following tasks can be carried out after the Logistics Clerk training:

• Work for logistics providers or in production and trading companies that have their own logistics department
