  • Treatment of the SI joint and lumbar spine I to V
  • Taking a medical history
  • Knowledge about radiology
  • Performing radiological assessments on the pelvic structure
  • Recognizing the client's constitution
  • Performing lumbar spine, cervical spine, thoracic spine and pelvic mobilization at the front

As each school sets its learning objectives individually and focuses on different content, you should contact the schools directly and request non-binding documents that will provide you with comprehensive information on all the important details of the spinal technology course.

Training in spinal technology is a certificate course that is not federally regulated and therefore has no fixed content, duration or admission requirements. Each school or training provider decides for itself which groups of people may attend this course and what previous training they must have. However, spinal therapy is a medical field that requires certain experience and is not suitable for complete laypersons. For this reason, basic knowledge and a certificate for a massage course or related training are required in most cases. However, please always check this first with the individual schools, which may have very different admission requirements.

The duration of a course in spinal technology or spinal therapy can vary greatly. There are courses that only last two hours once and others that last several days and take around 30 hours. Therefore, please always compare the offers very carefully and consult with the relevant schools.
