Stefan Nievergelt

Stefan Nievergelt's entry into the world of finance began with an internship at ZKB and, after completing further in-service training to become a certified business economist KSZH, led him to work as a client advisor and trainer at ZKB and then at Zurich and Swiss Life before becoming a mortgage specialist at PostFinance and finally at UBS, where he is now responsible for supporting client advisors in Wealth Management, i.e. Private Banking, as a real estate partner / contact person. He maintains numerous contacts with end clients and advisors, uses his professional expertise in the area of assets and pensions on a daily basis in pension and financial planning as well as in his real estate financing analyses and supports client advisors in matters relating to real estate and real estate financing.

Practically relevant further training at the IfFP

He has worked hard to acquire his professional expertise, including further training to become an IAF financial advisor and a financial planner with a federal certificate at the IfFP, the Institute for Financial Planning in Zurich. As ideal preparation for the professional certificate, Stefan Nievergelt first completed the non-federally recognized IAF financial advisor course and then invested intensive working and learning days in further training in preparation for the professional examination. But this learning effort has paid off for him. The learning content and working methods of the practical course to become a financial advisor and financial planner are now more than useful to him in his day-to-day work and have opened up new career opportunities for him. Following his further training, Nievergelt now also works as a lecturer at the IfFP at financial advisor and financial planner level in the field of real estate and passes on the specialist and methodological knowledge he has acquired to his students.
