The postgraduate courses in Leadership and Management NDS-HF last three semesters. They are designed for part-time study. There are various time models, such as lessons during the week in the evening, on Saturdays or on individual afternoons plus Saturday mornings.
In terms of content, all degree programs consist of three parts: Leadership training, management training and the writing of a diploma thesis. At some schools, the courses have a modular structure so that you can complete the three parts individually and adapt the pace of training to suit your abilities.
Schools can have their NDS-HF recognized by SERI (State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation). For this purpose, the postgraduate studies must be based on a framework curriculum and comprise at least 900 learning hours. The learning hours are made up of school lessons, semester work, self-study and the writing of the diploma thesis. The schools are free to allocate the learning hours as they wish. In most cases, the proportion of teaching hours is 350-600 lessons and the diploma thesis is estimated at approx. 130 working hours.
