Medical technical radiology: from diagnostics to therapy

Today, medical technical radiology encompasses the fields of diagnostic radiology, nuclear medicine and radiation oncology. Trained specialists in medical-technical radiology are employed primarily in hospitals and institutes. The work of a specialist in medical-technical radiology (HF) is very varied. Working with the most modern radiation equipment, including ultrasound and MRI equipment, is quite a challenge. Medical-technical radiology is a rather technical department. Nevertheless, the interpersonal relationship with the patient is not neglected.

The field of work of a specialist in medical-technical radiology (HF) requires structured and networked thinking and action. Their tasks are the detection of diseases and the consequences of accidents, as well as the observation of success during and after treatment, i.e. diagnostics and therapy. For medical technical radiology, well-trained specialists are needed who are just as interested in dealing with patients as they are in technical contexts and their effects.

There is not just one training path in this field, so it is advisable to contact the relevant radiology schools directly to find out about the individual training and further education courses. Using the contact form, which you can find on the large education portal Ausbildung-Weiterbildung.ch, you have the opportunity to obtain training documents and further information for medical technical radiology, so that you can then decide on the appropriate training or further education course at your leisure.
