Introductions to psychosynthesis only last a few days, during which you gain an insight into the working methods and ideas. A thorough basic training course, on the other hand, lasts around two years with 400 teaching units.

Psychosynthesis is used in many different areas, such as social work, psychotherapy, counseling, healing, coaching, family work or couples work, education and supervision. But it is also used in politics, management and organizational consulting.

The complete training in psychosynthesis is divided into five modules, which can be attended consecutively. The first module provides an introduction to the topic, the second a comprehensive basic training and in the third module participants learn to apply what they have learned in coaching, practice and counseling and to support others on their path. The fourth and fifth modules prepare participants for further qualifications, such as the Advanced Federal Professional Examination (AFPE) "Counselor in the Psychosocial Field with a Federal Diploma".

An introductory course in psychosynthesis can be attended by anyone who is interested in this subject, regardless of previous training and experience. Advanced courses usually require participation in the previous courses.

In the field of psychosynthesis, only the Advanced Federal Professional Examination (AFPE) "Counsellor in the Psychosocial Field with Federal Diploma" is federally recognized. This continuing education, further training can be started as a fourth module after completion of the other three modules, but can also be started after individual professional experience and preparation with supervision, psychosocial counseling and counseling processes.
