To calculate the CHE systems engineer salary, the occupational group is changed to "31 Engineering and comparable specialists" and the education is changed to "Higher vocational training, College of Higher Education". Now adjust the age to 31 years.
Three years later, after completing his training, he receives a salary of CHF 6,271 per month as a systems technician at the same company, i.e. his salary increase is over 14%.

Financial benefits of continuing education, further training as a systems engineering technician
Martin will receive CHF 1,420 more per month as a CHE systems technician (formerly CHE systems technology technician) than before and will therefore have at least CHF 604,000 more at his disposal by the time he retires than if he had not completed this continuing education, further training at the College of Higher Education.
As this theoretical calculation does not take into account any further salary increases, promotions or interest on savings, the salary can still increase significantly.
