Specialists in advertising technology with a degree from a university of applied sciences (HFP) hold a management position in a department or run their own company for services and products related to advertising signage. Yes, for the Advanced Federal Professional Examination (AFPE) to become a qualified advertising technician, you must have one of the following Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training: Advertising technology designer, screen printer, printing technologist specializing in screen printing or typeface painter, typeface and advertising designer. Persons with a federal certificate as a designer in the skilled trades are also admitted to the examination, as are persons with an equivalent certificate.
