Hypnotherapy is also used for relaxation and pain relief in certain areas of medicine (anesthesia, obstetrics, dentistry). Otherwise, it is mainly used in personality development, education and team development as well as in leadership training and sport.
Hypnotherapists clarify their patients' concerns in a preliminary discussion during hypnotherapy. Using various hypnosis techniques, they work together with the patient on the identified problems. After hypnosis, they provide tips and instructions for problem solving based on the insights gained from hypnosis.
